This year, Donaghys launched First Kick, a community initiative gifting a football to every child starting Primary 1 across nine local primary schools in the Banbridge area – over 300 children in total.
The idea is a simple one: a small welcome into school life, and an encouragement to get outside and play, away from the screen. It's a natural extension of the work our Junior Sports department does every day, and it sits alongside the other ways we give back to our community, from our annual Santa Visit to our Easter colouring competition.
